Ouellette receives Polar Bear Award from Bowdoin College
Mike Ouellette, parts and service manager at Northeast Charter & Tour Inc. recently received the 2010 Polar Bear Award from Bowdoin College. The "Polar Bear Award" is presented annually to an individual who provides outstanding support of Bowdoin College Athletics and is an important part of the Bowdoin Community.
Ouellette has worked in charter and tour business his entire life. His father and grandfather were the founding members of The Maine Line/Brunswick Transportation company that provided charter bus transportation in Maine from 1952 until 1999.

Northeast Charter & Tour Brings First Hybrid Minibus to Maine
In 2009, Northeast Charter & Tour brought the first hybrid minibus to Maine. The new 29-Passenger Hybrid minibus, nicknamed the "Green Machine" is built with clean burn technology and gets much better fuel mileage than other non-hybrid vehicles. |

Recently, Northeast Charter & Tour added Harry Brewster, David Gagnon, Charles Gilpatric to their experience team of drivers. The company also hired driver Daniel Keene who joins Northeast Charter & Tour as part of their new relationship with the Lewiston/Auburn YMCA. |
