History
“Ever since I got my license, I've liked giving my friends rides. I started driving tour buses while in college to make some extra money for school. It started out as my part time job and it became my career. I liked it so much I started my own company.”
- Scott A. Riccio, President, Owner and Founder
Since 1999, when our original bus shuttled skiers from the Portland Jetport to Sunday River we have grown our fleet to 13 charter buses, three mini-buses, passenger van and SUV. We now have a second location in Lincolnville, Maine in order to serve all of Maine and provide charter transportation services throughout the United States and Canada.
We’re also big sports fans! We are proud to be the official
transportation and carrier for the Portland Sea Dogs
(affiliate of the Boston Red Sox) for the past 9 years. We’ve
also been behind the wheel for 6 years as the travel provider
for the Lewiston Maineiacs hockey team of the Quebec
Major Junior Hockey League.
While we continue to grow we place the utmost importance on
high quality service and our relationships with all our customers.
We also value the hard work and dedication of our employees…

Each summer, Northeast Charter and Tour hosts a company barbeque for its employees. This summer 45 of the employees enjoyed the festivities and food at the party in Lewiston, Maine.

This was the third year of the barbeque party for staff to come together and share time away from the office and garage. Food included steaks, ribs and smoked salmon. As a special gift, employees also received re-usable grocery bags with the Northeast Charter and Tour logo. |

As part of the company’s 10th anniversary, TD Bank and Firestone also sponsored a golf outing for employees after the barbeque.
